Flexibility is the range of motion for muscles and the associated connective tissues at a joint or multiple joints. Appropriate for skaters of all ages and levels, flexibility training with Matthew Matsuura will help you to increase your range of motion or ROM (the extent or limit to which a part of the body can be moved around a joint or a fixed point) for improved on-ice performance. Optimal flexibility training may include these components: Static Stretching, Dynamic Stretching and Ballistic Stretching. *Skaters should have a clear, flat area for workouts. *Required equipment may include: Elastic mini-bands of different strengths Physio bands of different strengths
